Console1

This is the console that was built to our specific design in the Devon factory during February 2012. As you can see, it has tabs rather than draw stops to ensure the organist can see over the top. The aperture to the right will house the CCTV monitor showing the entrance to the Grand Temple, so that the organist can see a procession arriving at the doorway.

Have a look at the detailed specification of forty-eight speaking stops, residing in four departments spread over the two manuals and pedals. The console has two x 61 note keyboards, a 32 note radiating and concave pedal board with beech pedals, and an adjustable bench.

The instrument is fully equipped with six programmable pistons to each manual and reversible pistons for couplers, 16 general pistons and multiple long-term piston memories to enable different organists to have their own settings.
It adheres to the traditional pipe organ presentation and does not have unnecessary controls sometime seen on electronic organs.
