I am delighted to know the Appeal Fund is being so well supported. We have a magnificent Grade 2 Listed Temple at Mark Masons' Hall and it is fitting to have a fine new digital organ. We all appreciate good music to accompany the ceremonial in the many Orders that meet here, and we can now offer the very best.
The organ appeal remains open as I know some have not yet contributed but are planning to do so. Very many thanks for your generous support.

Good music does so much to enhance our ceremonies and I am sure you will agree with me that we should provide the very best of resources in the Grand Temple at Mark Masons' Hall. The present organ has served us well for twenty five years and was one of the first electronic organs of its kind. It has now reached the end of its useful life and an appeal is being launched to replace this with the latest type of digital organ. Our sophisticated modern ears expect the very best and we are now accustomed to listening to Hi-Fi, to television and even in our cars, with an expectation of the best. Please help us achieve this by giving your support to the new Organ Appeal.
“Music is one of the Liberal Arts we hold so dearly, yet many local Masonic premises are forced by financial constraints to compromise standards. It is fitting that our Grand Temple in St. James's should provide the best resources, yet the organ that has served us well for 25 years now needs replacing. Please help us by supporting the Appeal Fund which will ensure we have a fine digital instrument worthy of the Masonic Orders who use the Grand Temple.”
